High Tech Software Cluster named European Digital Innovation Hub

The High Tech Software Cluster is named European Digital Innovation Hub (DIH), with expertise in innovative software solutions for the manufacturing industry. A prestigieus label granted by the European Commision as part of their Smart Specialisation policy to stimulate regions, such as Brainport Eindhoven, to focus investments in current areas of technological strength and in high potential future areas. This acknowledgement will make it easier for other frontrunners across the EU and the world to team up with the High Tech Software Cluster and its members.

As a Digital Innovation Hub the High Tech Software Cluster helps industrial companies to master digitalisation and realise smart products, services and business models. It does this among other things by organizing regular workshops and training sessions related to software innovation. For this, SMEs are welcome to visit the Software Competence Center (SCC) at the Brainport Industries Campus. At the SCC you can get free advice about innovative software solutions, experiment with live demonstrators and learn about the changing role of software.

About Digital Innovation Hubs

Digital Innovation Hubs are one-stop-shops that help companies to become more competitive with regard to their business/production processes, products or services using digital technologies. They are based upon technology infrastructure (Competence Centre – CC) and provide access to the latest knowledge, expertise and technology to support their customers with piloting, testing and experimenting with digital innovations. DIHs also provide business and financing support to implement these innovations, if needed across the value chain.
